SPRINKLING CANS

On my birthday, I received some very cute little sprinkling cans.
With spring starting to peek around the corner it was time to change my table scape.
Those cute little garden tools are also napkin rings, but I hung them on the side
of the sprinkling can as an added attraction.
I'm still going to make little brown paper tags and write some quotes about spring.

It's hard to tell but along with the little sprinkling cans at each place setting, I found a large sprinkling can, filled it with lovely pink Gerber Daisy's, and added to the table scape a small birdhouse and bird nest resting on a terra cotta planter.
I enjoy the "woodsey" look.

SPRING BREAK -- HERE COMES SPRING

SPRING IS HERE - THE FIG TREE
SPRING IS HERE - SQUIRREL NESTING IN BIRD HOUSE
NOT FOR LONG!!
Danny will have to patch some more boards across the hole to make it small enough so that squirrel won't be nesting in there any more! Yikes, I don't want baby squirrels running around up there!

MARCH....... Holds so many treasures of the heart.

Another new month to set the table and enjoy the beauty of old things, as well as bringing the beauty of nature from my back yard right onto the table as another new "Table Scape" ----
Little Leprechaun Figurines (1942) that belonged to Danny's mother.
Beautiful green depression glass plate and compotes.
Lovely antique green vase.
Simple creme porcelain pansy bowl.
A set of handmade linen place-mats Danny brought to me from a business trip to N.Y. City, 1975.
Pansy's, Daffodils, and Flowering Quince.
