FRIED CHICKEN - MADE THE WAY OF "THE HELP"

Here's my drumsticks in the bottom of the paper sack. I shook the chicken legs in the flour and spices just like she said to do.

Now the drumsticks are being fried in Crisco (just like instructed in the movie)

in my black skillet.

That black skillet part wasn't in the movie, but it seemed like the best skillet I had for the job.

Yummy!

Those are Pioneer Woman Mashed Potato's

(Danny and I decided we liked my ol' recipe for mashed potato's better).
